Company Remarks

Oil field equipment giant aims to be the undisputed leader in carbon sequestration--long-term storage of CO2 and other forms of carbon to mitigate global warming. Has invested heavily in carbon capture and storage (CCS) technology, creating a business unit devoted to CCS projects. Its seismic survey ships are reportedly 20% to 25% more fuel-efficient than those of other seismic contractors due to using fuels that emit less pollution and towing equipment that creates less drag on the vessels.

* Due to a miscalculation, the Green Rankings significantly overstated ConAgra’s Water Use, thus giving it an incorrect Environmental Impact Score and Green Score. ConAgra should have been ranked 342 overall. ConAgra’s Environmental Impact Score and Green Score are not directly comparable to other company scores due to the miscalculation previously noted. We regret the error.
