Investment bank's climate change record is mixed. Has described climate change as big environmental challenges, has pledged to reduce its indirect GHG emissions by 7%, and, at end of 2008, had investments in clean technology and sustainable development totaling more than $2.5 billion. However, is also financing construction of 10 new coal-fired power plants which, according to one estimate, are expected to emit 65 million tons of CO2 each year.
