Big machines are usually bad for the environment. But Caterpillar is working to offset the effects of the heavy carbon footprint of its equipment. Has announced plans to reduce the GHG emissions of its entire product line by 20% by 2020 and reduce the absolute GHG emissions from its facilities by 25% by the same year.
