Company Remarks

AMD's goal is to reduce GHG emissions by 40% from 2006-2010, having achieved a 50% reduction from 2002-7. Also reducing perfluorocompound (PFC) emissions by 50% by 2010 by using alternative processes at its wafer fabrication facilities. Waste reduction and recycling programs are good but not outstanding, compared to its peers. In 2009, the company debuted halogen-free products and plans to introduce lead-free products, as well.
